Description

Wiggle from 2nd Sense Audio is a waveshaping synthesizer plug-in. It provides four sound generators that can be layered for thick sounds or morphed together for expressive transformational timbres. Manipulating options abound with LFOs, envelope filters, and four specialized modulators offering drag-and-drop control. Its Move and Morph controls provide interesting ways of creating continually changing sound, and its sequencer provides a multifaceted approach to laying out repetitive patterns and arpeggios. This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms, and can be used in stand-alone, AU, VST, and AAX formats.

*Not a physical product. 3rd party marketplace customers (eBay, Reverb, WalMart, etc) will receive nothing in the mail. An activation code, download URL, and support contact will be sent via email, text message, or platform preferred message once payment clears.*

Synth Page

Four Wavetables

Each wavetable allows you to manipulate eight types of waveforms for your synthesis purposes, including Linear, Square, Cosine, Cubic, Sine, Saw, Triangle and Noise. You can further modify these waveforms with shaping and randomizing features. Likewise, you can fine-tune with five tuning controls, add harmonic content with phase distortion, and adjust the amplitude envelope.

Move Function

A signature feature of Wiggle is its Move function, which allows you to adjust four separate points in every waveform via independently acting LFOs, all of which can be tweaked to your liking, and synced to your DAW’s tempo as well.

FM Matrix and OP Mix Panel

In layering the four wavetables to create massive sounds via the OP Mix, you can utilize the Frequency Modulation (FM) Matrix to further mangle/enhance the sound.

Filters, Effects, and Distortion

Nine filter types are included, as well as a three-band equalizer and guitar-amp style distortion. Further effects include chorus, phaser, delay, and reverb.

Modulations

Wiggle provides eight LFO/envelope filters, as well as 2 macro controllers, a key-switch modulator, and a velocity modulator.

Morph Pad

Another major sound-design feature, the Morph Pad, allows you to create four variations of your overall sound via snapshots—sonic images of your patch at the time of capture —and to morph between these snapshots using your computer’s mouse, a MIDI controller, or built-in controls.

Master Control

Velocity curves, unison controls, and polyphony modes can all be controlled in this section, as can the overall master level.

Other Notable Features

Sequencer

The built-in sequencer allows you to create repeating patterns with a large amount of preset control. For instance, using the sequencer, you can stretch the duration of a note, slice its duration in various fractions, jump octaves, change velocities, transpose notes in semitone increments, nudge the timing ahead or behind the beat as you see fit, and instantiate a host of untraditional parameters via the Custom option.

Preset Browser

Wiggle provides a panoply of usable presets, as well as the ability to save your own for later. You can also like, dislike, and favorite presets, making them easier to recall.

Utility Panel

This panel will allow you to change between three oversampling settings, set a master tuning standard, record audio for use within your DAW, instantiate tutorial options, and even change the handedness of mouse-clicks, should you happen to be southpawed in proclivity.
