Description

The CAD GXL3000 Multi-Pattern Condenser Microphone from CAD is designed for capturing vocals and general instruments in project and professional studio recording applications. The microphone’s diaphragm provides cardioid, omni-directional, and figure 8 polar patterns. This multi-pattern design provides flexibility for capturing audio in a wide range of scenarios. The cardioid pattern rejects off-axis audio and noise, the omni-directional pattern provides a generous pick up area at the front of the capsule, and the figure-8 pattern provides a uniform response at both sides of the diaphragm. High sensitivity and wide, linear frequency response make the GXL3000 a viable solution for most applications, including vocals, guitar, and percussion. The package also contains an elastic shock mount and a protective pouch. 48V of phantom power are required for operation.
