The FabFilter Micro Filter Software Plug-In is a single professional quality filter with low-pass and high-pass settings for Mac or Windows computers. It can be used in mixing and mastering audio applications such as studio recording, post production, and more. It features the classic analog-sounding filter from FabFilter One, which has low-pass and high-pass shapes and an envelope follower to modulate the cut-off frequency. With individual Input Gain and Output Gain parameters, you can control the saturation of the internal filter, making it suitable for basic filtering tasks but also capable of distortion and analog saturation effects.
The Micro Filter plug-in software has comprehensive MIDI specs, including MIDI learn, Smart Parameter Interpolation for smooth parameter transitions, and supports common Pro Tools hardware control surfaces. It also offers extensive help with interactive help hints, AltiVec and SSE optimization, and much more. The plug-in is available in VST, VST 3, Audio Units, AAX Native and AudioSuite formats, in both 64- and 32-bit, and RTAS in 32-bit.
