ILIO BT Modern Wave for Omnisphere 2 is an Artist Series patch created by electronic pioneer and film composer Brian Transeau, better known as BT. ILIO Modern Wave includes 66 premium patches highlighting the mass resurgence of 1980s-inspired Synthwave. Playing on BT’s extensive electronic music background and synthesizer knowledge, BT – Modern Wave is an authentic yet fearlessly inventive collection. It includes cinematic arps/BPM, rich pads, leads, deep basses, plucks, and an assortment of poly synth patches inspired by vintage analog synths.

Just like a vintage synthesizer, the sounds of BT-Modern Wave can transcend genres and lend themselves to a wide variety of compositional applications. It is well-suited for electronic film scoring, textures and layering with other instruments. But Modern Wave truly shines where foreground classic synthesizers are a must.
