The ILIO Patch Library Bundle for Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 Virtual Synthesizer offers six patch libraries designed to extend Omnisphere 2’s sound pallet with original sound sources and signature patches designed by professional music producers.
The bundle includes the Hardwired, Robotica, Revolve, Pulsar, Fire Water, and Ascension patch libraries. Inside is a cornucopia of modular synth sonics, kinetic arpeggiations, BPM-locked movers, risers and swells, ominous drones, atmospheric pads, ripping synth basses, powerful and funky leads, lush pads, and spaced-out sound effects, ideal for any type of modern electronic music, from Drum and Bass, to EDM, to film soundtracks.
Designed for EDM producers and DJ’s, as well as film and television composers, ILIO Hardwired is a patch library for Omnisphere 2.1 (or higher) that consists of analog and digital modular patches created using cutting-edge modular synth technology.
Jesse Scott of Summer Channel and Kris Northern of Magpie Modular programmed over one hundred patches with foreboding cinematic drones, lush and perpetually evolving sounds, textural sound beds, quirky effects, gnashing leads, mangled aural soundscapes, crazy one-shot hits, as well as BPM-locked rhythmic effects and arpeggiations. Most patches were generated using multiple, random timing sources so that you never get the same exact sound twice, ensuring that you get unique sounds every time you use your instrument.
Robotica from ILIO is a 107-patch library for Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 that provides musicians, producers, and sound designers with Sci-Fi sonic elements designed to infuse futuristic atmospheres into any type of electronic music.
Robotic effects and textures, vocoder sound bites, ominous drones, atmospheric pads, spaced-out sound effects, and BPM-locked movers can be blended in new and unusual ways using the host’s extensive menu of arpeggiators, LFOs, envelopes, and effects.
The library loads quickly and easily into Omnisphere. Each sound is optimized for use with a modulation wheel, providing real-time control on stage or in the studio.
Designed to add groove and movement to your soundtracks, chill mixes, pop productions, or dance tracks, ILIO Revolve is a patch library for Omnisphere 2.1 (or later) that consists of arpeggiated synths, heavenly bells, twisted bass lines, and phantasmagorical plucks.
Producers Jesse Scott and MIDIhead programmed over one hundred arpeggiated patches and ten multis including super-resonant, detuned synths, intense and suspenseful movements, growling pulsations, and plucked and airy sounds, to provide you with plenty of inspiration for any mood you wish to create.
Pulsar from ILIO is a set of additional patches for Spectrasonics’s Omnisphere 2 virtual instrument, featuring BPM-locked basses, synths, leads, pads, and FX. With the sounds ranging from aggressive to ethereal, the collection makes use of the host’s extensive menu of arpeggiators, LFOs, envelopes, and effects, and provides rhythmic energy for use in electronic, ambient, pop, EDM, and film music.
Nearly all of the sounds are generated using Omnisphere 2’s DSP waveforms, with focus on the use of the modulation wheel and aftertouch for fast, expressive, sound-altering control. Many patches are also optimized for use with The Orb, providing even more real-time control on stage, or in the studio.
Fire Water from ILIO is a patch library for Omnisphere 2.1 with categories that include synthesizer basses, funky leads, lush pads, ethereal and epic poly synths, effects and textures, vocoder sound bites, and BPM-locked sequences. The sounds are suitable for constructing any type of modern electronic music, such as drum and bass, trap, hip-hop, pop, EDM and even film scores. The library loads quickly and easily into Omnisphere 2.1 or higher. Each sound is optimized for use with a modulation wheel for real-time control on stage or in the studio, and the use of The Orb yields unexpected surprises.
Ascension from ILIO is a collection of over two hundred riser and swell patches for Spectrasonics’ Omnisphere virtual instrument. Designed for EDM (Electronic Dance Music) producers and DJ’s, as well as film and television composers, the patches make use of the modulation wheel to add a side-chain compression simulator that emulates the “four on the floor” pumping effect. Many patches are also optimized for use with The Orb performance interface feature, providing even more real-time control on stage and in the studio.
Control is also available for adjusting the timing of each riser and swell, all of which are presented in 2, 4, 8, and 16 bar iterations (with several single bar versions added). This allows each riser to finish its crescendo at the right ending point, no matter the tempo. Additionally, each sound holds and transforms intro drones or pulsations after the crescendo, allowing for the addition of beats and other elements on the downbeat, if desired.
