Available for download, iZotope Elements Suite 6 is a suite of software giving you four plug-ins in one convenient package. For mixing purposes, you get Neutron Elements, a channel-strip plug-in with single-band dynamics control, EQ, and Track Assistant. For the restoration and repair of audio, RX Elements comes to the rescue, providing four useful modules from RX. RX Elements can handle 32 tabs of audio as well as an overhauled De-Hum module. Ozone Elements introduces you to mastering audio with the Ozone platform, providing simplified controls and Ozone’s Master Assistant. Lastly, Nectar Elements has been added to the suite, which allows for easy vocal processing, and also provides a Vocal Assistant for quickly fixing vocal issues and bolstering vocal assets.
This software suite works on Mac OS X and Windows platforms and operates in many standard plug-in formats.
Available for download, iZotope Ozone Elements Version 9 has been designed to give beginners a simple and effective tool to use when mastering audio in their productions. It utilizes much of the same technology used in the Ozone bundle, but scales them down for the novice engineer.
Ozone Elements Version 9 provides the Master Assistant tool, which creates intelligent custom presets suited to your individual mix and to the eventual delivery target (streaming, CD, etc.). Ozone’s maximizer is on hand for achieving your desired level, as are threshold learn, Stereo Independence, and two IRC algorithms.
The Imager lets you manipulate the overall stereo-width of your master, giving you Stereoize mode for widening monaural elements, an integrated vectorscope, and a correlation meter for learning to identify potential phase issues. The Imager has been improved for transparency, compared to version 8.
EQ and dynamics sections are both provided. When compared to the previous version, Ozone Elements v9 has been upgraded in terms of CPU efficiency. You’ll notice faster loading times upon a session’s startup, for instance.
Ozone Elements Version 9 sports many presets divided into genre-specific, artist-signature, and all-purpose categories. Utilitarian tools are also provided such as a comprehensive I/O section, undo history for correcting mistakes, an MP3 codec audition panel, and seamless bypass mode. This plug-in works in VST, AU, RTAS, and AAX formats, and is compatible with Mac and Windows machines. It’s now also compatible with NKS formats, so it works with Native Instruments software.
Available for download, iZotope Neutron Elements 3 is designed to be an introduction to iZotope Neutron’s mixing algorithms, giving you the compressor, equalizer, exciter, and transient shaper of its bigger sibling in less fully featured versions. Version 3 has been given a GUI and processing overhaul that makes using the channel-strip even easier than before.
As with Neutron Standard, the Elements version offers the Track Assistant to help you quickly identify potential problem areas in a track. Run the Track Assistant, select the desired intensity of the processing, and then tweak the EQ, compressor, exciter, and transient shaper to your exact predilections, watching the meters and analysis tools as you do so. Need a bigger window? The GUI is now resizeable, so you can scale it to your screen. Over 100 presets are provided to get you started.

Designed to introduce users to the powerful possibilities of editing audio within the RX platform, iZotope’s RX 8 Elements comprises select modules and plug-ins from RX 8, alongside their standalone audio editor. This provides the ability to use the spectrograph to visualize audio, whereupon you can use the tools provided to process specific segments of the audio spectrum.
Four modules double as single plug-ins: De-click, De-clip, De-hum, and Voice De-noise. De-click allows you to eliminate troublesome clicks or pops that can arise from any number of errant issues. De-clip can significantly improve the quality of audio that has been pushed past the digital ceiling into the realms of unpleasant distortion.
De-hum is useful in eliminating unwanted droning elements from recordings (such as refrigerator hums). It has been significantly tweaked for RX 8. The zero-latency Voice De-noise has been designed to focus on dialogue and vocals, giving you an optional Adaptive mode that can adjust to a changing noise floor in real time. There are also optimization modes for dialogue and music. When optimized for music, Voice De-noise can attenuate unwanted background noise from air conditioners or street noise, removing it from vocals in apartment-recording scenarios.
Third-party plug-in loading is available, as is the Module Chain and other workflow enhancements such as controls over polarity, fades, gain, and more. Editing is made easier with the addition of horizontal scrolling.

Available for download, iZotope Nectar Elements is an easy-to-use plug-in for processing vocals. It utilizes a Vocal Assistant to analyze your audio track and automatically apply complementary processing. It can fix EQ problems, bolster EQ assets, smooth out the dynamics with compression, apply intelligent de-essing, pitch correction, and more.
At the analysis stage, the plug-in offers three different vibes and three different intensities. Thus, you can make the decision to process vocals in a vintage, modern, or dialogue-centric manner, all while choosing to apply light, moderate, or aggressive processing. Once that’s done, you’re presented with seven slider-based scaling controls. Use these for further tweaking of EQ, de-essing, compression, ambience, and more.
