MSaturatorMB from MeldaProduction is a plug-in that delivers a type of smooth distortion that is often generated when using tube processors and tape. Broadband saturation may sound good on rock guitars, but sometimes all that’s needed is the addition of some flavor to clean tracks. The process not only provides this harmonic flavor, it can also improve bass and sub bass content, and more.

The multiband design plays an important role, and while an analog-type saturator naturally creates the whole harmonic spectrum, the included digital harmonic generator can also create distinct harmonics. To further enhance the effect the software can modulate any parameter from a set of modulation sources that includes LFOs, audio level followers, envelope generators, randomizer, and pitch detectors.
