The ew 300 G4 Wireless Microphone System from Sennheiser is an addition to their evolution series of wireless microphone systems.
$829.00 – $1,195.00
The ew 300 G4 Wireless Microphone System from Sennheiser is an addition to their evolution series of wireless microphone systems. It includes either an SKM 300 G4 handheld transmitter with a MME865 supercardioid microphone capsule or an ew 300-ME2-RC Bodypack Lavalier Microphone, an EM 300-500 G4 wireless receiver with two rod antennas, a GA3 rackmount kit, a power supply, two batteries, and a microphone clip. This set can be used to capture audio in several environments for live stage, theater, rehearsal, and presentation applications.
In addition, Sennheiser Control Cockpit Software (download) offers easy handling, control, and maintenance for the Digital Wireless System. It provides a global overview of all network-enabled devices, shows all status information, and makes setting adjustments very easy.
The EM 300-500 G4 Wireless True Diversity Receiver from Sennheiser is the latest addition to their evolution series of wireless receivers. It operates in the UHF frequency range and can be used with a companion transmitter and microphone (sold separately), as part of a wireless RF transmission system for live stage, theater, and presentation applications.
The half-rack receiver features 3250 frequencies and is tunable in 25 kHz steps. There are 20 fixed frequency banks with up to 32 compatible frequency presets and 6 user banks with up to 32 user programmable frequencies. This receiver is built with a menu-driven backlit OLED display showing current frequency, frequency bank and channel number, metering of RF level, volume level, line output level, lock status, battery status, muting function, and more.
Enclosed in a rugged metal housing, the EM 300-500 G4 receiver is equipped with a balanced XLR-3M audio output along with an unbalanced 1/4″ audio output. A 1/4″ headphone output with headphone volume control is provided along with an Ethernet port (RF45) for remote network-based monitoring and control, using Sennheiser’s Wireless System Manager software. Two BNC-type sockets are for connecting the antennas. Finally, the half-rack receiver operates on the included 12V power supply and includes a GA3 rackmount set.
Available in black, the ME 2-II from Sennheiser is an omnidirectional lavalier microphone designed to capture speech and vocals. It takes concepts found in the original ME-2 and expands them, focusing the frequency response and offering full compatibility with digital RF-transmission systems. Whereas the ME-2 could introduce noise if the capsule and transmit antenna were over 7.9” away from each other, the ME 2-II is 100% compliant with digital RF systems, such as the SpeechLine Digital Wireless system.
Also, where the ME-2 gave you a frequency response of 30 Hz to 20 kHz, this iteration narrows the range from 50 Hz to 18 kHz. The focusing allows the capsule to hone in more on appropriate tonalities, minimizing the capture of frequencies piercingly high and unnecessarily low in the context of vocal recording.
Additionally, this model features a lighter-weight housing compared to the original, as well as an improved clip and an integrated windscreen. A cable length of 5.2′ provides enough slack for nearly any situation, at the end of which sits a 3.5mm threaded EW connector for compatible systems, such as the AVX, XS Wireless 1, XS Wireless 2, and more.
The SKM 300 G4 Wireless Handheld Transmitter, No Capsule from Sennheiser is the latest addition to their evolution series of wireless transmitters. It operates in the UHF frequency range and can be used with a companion receiver and a microphone capsule (sold separately) as part of a wireless RF transmission system for live stage, theater, and presentation applications.
It features 3250 frequencies that are tunable in 25 kHz steps and equipped with 20 fixed-frequency banks with up to 32 compatible frequency presets, and 6 user banks with up to 32 user-programmable frequencies. The transmitter’s menu-driven backlit LCD display shows the current frequency, frequency bank and channel number, metering of AF level, transmission status, muting function, battery status, and more.
Furthermore, the SKM 300 G4 handheld transmitter’s frequency response ranges from 80 Hz to 18 kHz and power is supplied by two 1.5V AA size batteries, or by one Sennheiser BA 2015 rechargeable accupack. Also, an e 935, e 945, or e 965 microphone capsule is required (sold separately).
Finally, Sennheiser Control Cockpit Software (download) offers easy handling, control, and maintenance for the Digital Wireless System. It provides a global overview of all network-enabled devices, shows all status information, and makes setting adjustments very easy.
The Sennheiser MME 865-1 BK Microphone Capsule, compatible with all ew G3 and 2000 series handheld transmitters, uses condenser technology for realistic voice production.
