Description

Download three intelligent EQ tools in one package with the Sonible Special EQ Bundle. Included are smart:EQ 2, entropy:EQ+, and proximity:EQ+. The first equalizer has an artificial intelligence engine that automatically corrects tonal imbalances. It comes with instrument profiles so you can tailor the algorithms, and it offers M/S processing and a tilt filter function. entropy:EQ+ can intelligently emphasize or smooth out transients on a selective frequency basis. proximity:EQ+ is like an EQ, a room enhancer, and de-reverberator all in one. It works with the natural ambience in the recording to bring sounds closer to you or move them away.

All of these plug-ins are compatible with Mac and Windows platforms, and can operate in AU, VST, and AAX formats. Use these plug-ins in pro-audio mixing or post-production contexts.

Sonible smart:EQ 2 – Intelligent Equalizer Plug-In (Download)

Sonible smart:EQ 2 is an intelligent equalizer plug-in with a built-in A.I. engine designed to speed up instrument and vocal EQing tasks in music, film, and TV post-production applications. The software analyzes your individual tracks in seconds and balances out frequencies to remove resonances and produce a natural and transparent sound, which seamlessly blends into your mix or cuts through the audio spectrum.

Powered by proprietary smart:engine technology, the smart:EQ 2 automatically evaluates your audio material and generates a custom filter curve. The intuitive control interface allows you to easily adjust the curve to suit your needs and personal mixing style.

The software includes content-aware profiles, which you can use to further tweak your sound, add clarity to your mixes or more punch to single tracks, or carve out the harsh parts of your vocal recordings. You can edit, create, and save your own custom-made profiles, and share them with friends and collaborators.

Additional M/S processing options allow you to optimize the sonic space of your tracks. Other features include a pre and post analyzer, and a tilt filter option.

Smart Filtering

  • smart:engine analyzes your audio material and generates a custom filter curve—with pre, post, and pre/post analyzers
  • Self-learning smart:engine generates a detailed filter curve tailored to the specific audio material to create a natural-sounding tonal balance
  • Intuitive control interface allows you to easily adjust the smart:filter to suit your needs

M/S Processing

  • M/S panning and side balance function
  • Tilt Filter function

Custom Profiles

  • Includes factory profiles for instrument-aware audio processing
  • Includes profiles optimized for the human voice
  • Edit, create, save, and share your own custom-made profiles

Sonible proximity:EQ+ – Intelligent Equalization Software for Audio Mixing and Post Production (Download)

Available for download, Sonible’s proximity:EQ+ is a software equalizer, room-enhancement module, dereverberation tool, and presence shaping plug-in all rolled into one. It utilizes algorithms that analyze incoming audio, apply a frequency curve to the audio, and allow you to effectively alter the listener’s depth-perception of the signal. Whether you choose to emphasize the sound—say for an acoustic guitar or a drum set—or the space around the sound, proximity:EQ+ works to help you get the most appropriate timbre for the situation, securing depth and proper mix balance in the process.

You can achieve these effects on a global scale with the master proximity dial, bringing the entire instrument or sound source out of (or deeper into) its ambiance. Conversely you can choose to do this on a frequency-specific basis.

If you choose the latter approach, look to the band-specific EQ panel just above the frequency analyzer; here you’ll note a small ruler tool which, when selected, turns the band of the equalizer into what Sonible calls a proximity band. Now you can move a range of frequencies out of their natural acoustic space, or submerge them deeper therein.

If you don’t select this ruler tool, the plug-in operates like a conventional equalizer with eight bands. You can also choose to not use the spectral analyzer, and just use your ears; that’s possible through the blind:flug mode, which expands the layout of band-specific controls.

It’s important to note that this software doesn’t generate artificial reverb; it merely allows you to work with—to separate or enhance—the natural ambiance already present. This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms, and can run in AU, VST2, VST3, and AAX formats. Authorization can be achieved on your machine or with a Pace iLok.

Draw the Source Closer

Sometimes during recording, the recording microphone can be placed too far from the source; perhaps the grand piano turns out muddy because too much ambiance was recorded. In these situations, proximity:EQ+ lets you draw the voice significantly closer and give the muddy piano a crisper sound.

Add Depth and Space

It is also possible that the microphone was placed too close to the sound source. In these situations, the sound can lack natural spaciousness, and here proximity:EQ+ seamlessly distances the sound source without affecting its original character. This adds a feeling of depth to the element in question—and to the overall mix as a result.

Dispatch Room Resonances Quickly and Effectively

Perfectly positioning the microphones doesn’t change the inherent qualities of a room’s acoustics. If the room isn’t any good, mixing the sound can feel like an uphill battle. The technology of proximity:EQ+ opens entirely new possibilities for amending detrimental room modes in post-production while leaving the direct sound relatively untouched.

Sonible Entropy: EQ+ – Transient-Shaping Software for Music and Post (Download)

Available for download, Sonible’s entropy:EQ+ is software that homes in on the frequency of transients found within a selected audio source and allows you to emphasize, refine, or mitigate their percussive qualities. The software can be used in broadband mode, boosting or attenuating percussive elements across the frequency spectrum, or in a more frequency-dependent manner with the eight bands provided.

You can use the software in musical applications, such as emphasizing the attack of a tom hit, or in post-production, where it can improve speech intelligibility. On a harmonic instrument, such as piano or guitar, you can use entropy:EQ+ to bring out the groove of a rhythmic part or emphasize its harmonic content when percussive elements are clashing with the drums.

This software also functions as an eight-band linear phase EQ. With each band, you can select whether or not it reacts in a dynamic way to the frequency selected, or if it behaves as a static, traditional linear phase EQ. Controls for smoothing and strength allow you to fine-tune the process to best suit your needs.

This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms, and can run in AU, VST2, VST3, and AAX formats. Authorization can be achieved on your machine or with a Pace iLok.
