Description

Steinberg Nuendo 11 is music and audio post-production workstation software designed to provide versatile workflows, task efficiency, and integration with industry-standard tools for composers, audio editors, sound designers, and mixers, in film, television, music, game audio, VR, post-production, and immersive sound.

For superior audio quality, Nuendo 11 utilizes a 64-bit audio engine compatible with resolutions up to 384 kHz. The software offers unlimited audio, instrument, and MIDI tracks, and can accommodate up to 256 physical I/O, as well as 256 group channels. Notable features include full automatic delay compensation, 64 FX send/return channels, and 2 video tracks.

Nuendo 11 offers advanced mixing capabilities and a powerful film-mixing-style automation system. In addition to the Anymix Pro surround panner, the VST MultiPanner supports Dolby Atmos 9.1 and 7.1.4 mixing, and other surround formats from 5.1 and 7.1, up to 22.2 and Auro 3-D. Over 100 professional effect and processor plug-ins are part of the package, including a convolution reverb with many impulse responses, a high-quality channel strip, and channel EQ. The convenient loudness track and loudness meter helps you keep control over your levels. You can also save a lot of time by exporting multiple stems based on cycle markers and Multi-Master Batch Export for additional mixes in different languages can be done in one go.

To deliver fast post-production workflows, Nuendo 11 supports Authoring for Dolby Atmos (ADM) and Automated Dialog Replacement (ADR). There is also a Netflix loudness meter, an Intelligibility meter for clear dialog mixes, and SpectraLayers One to surgically clean up your audio. Compatibility with AAF files makes importing data from other software fast and easy.

Composers and musicians have access to a score editor for writing music notation directly into the software. Advanced and flexible MIDI functionality includes Expression Maps to audition your compositions, a Drum Editor for constructing and reworking beats, rhythms, and grooves, and support for MIDI Polyphonic Expression (MPE). Chord Track and Chord Pads give you that extra inspirational push whenever you are stuck in the creative process. A total of 11 virtual instruments are included with a combination of synths, samplers, drum machine, and loop and instrument sound libraries—plus support for countless third-party VST plug-ins.

Optimized for interactive music composition, Nuendo 11 offers a plethora of well-thought-out functionality exclusively designed for game audio. Game Audio Connect (GAC) allows transferring audio files directly from a Nuendo project into Wwise session to further edit your sound assets—and now it also supports CRIWARE’s game audio middleware, ADX2. A collection of 750 carefully selected premium game sound effects and a Pro Sound FX library that includes foley, ambiences, impacts, vehicles, weapons, and more.

Nuendo 11 offers a complete solution for Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and immersive sound production with support for Ambisonics, Headtracking, AmbiDecoder, dearVR Spatial Connect, and GoPro VR Player.

The included VST Connect SE 5 software allows you to connect directly with other musicians and engineers via chat or video and audio streaming, giving you the freedom to collaborate and produce together, even when you’re not in the same studio.

Nuendo 11 is compatible with macOS and Windows systems, and operates in VST2 and VST3 formats. (Note: Only 64-bit plug-ins are supported).

Note: A Steinberg USB-eLicenser (available separately) is required for software authorization.
