The tracktion RetroMod LoFreq Classic Synths Virtual Instrument is a virtual instrument providing emulations of eleven iconic instruments from 1974 to 1995 with choice selections from Roland, Yamaha, Oberheim, Arp, Korg, Realistic, Novation, and Doepfer. Each instrument was painstakingly recorded using venerated gear such as the Avalon U5, A-Design Reddi, Phoenix Audio NiceDI, Universal Audio 2192, RME ADI-2, VoVox cables.
There are 3.4GB of material with 358 presets, which utilize 13,500 samples to create a huge palette of sounds. Additionally, the RetroMod plug-ins not only render the feel of the original instruments, but also add a contemporary twist from a secondary multimode resonant filter. A second oscillator helps beef up the sound, while an XY Pad is designed to add your choice of subtle or aggressive colors to the original sound. Plus, there is a massive 16-voice unison mode and integrated arpeggiator for generating patterns.
This software is compatible with Mac, Windows, and Linux computers. It can operate as an AU, AAX, or VST plug-in.
