All instruments were recorded on analog tape using quality recording gear and each kit also includes real plate reverb and room ambiance that can be blended in for additional sonic possibilities. The collection comes with multiple presets designed by top sound designers, and each kit includes sounds ranging from classic and super-clean, to modern and heavily processed.

The kit is powered by the Addictive Drums 2 sound engine, allowing for instant loading and tweaking of drums, along with realistic performance playback, all with little CPU load.
