Acon Digital’s Restoration Suite 2 consists of four audio restoration and noise reduction plug-ins that target noise, hum, clicks, crackles, plosives, and more. It can also restore audio recordings distorted by analog or digital clipping.

Improvements have been made to version 2 to each of the four plug-ins included within the suite. DeNoise 2 introduces dynamic noise profiles that help to reduce noise which changes over time. This can be a boon in mitigating issues of wind or rustling.

DeNoise 2, DeClick 2, and DeHum 2 now support mid-side processing to reduce unwanted fluctuations in the stereo field. DeClick 2 has been improved overall, and can now fix plosives and thumps. Also, you can use it at higher sensitivities without causing artifacts.

DeHum 2 now boasts a fine-tune button that scans for and automatically estimates the hum’s frequency. DeClip 2 has been overhauled to give you better reconstruction of clipped signals.

All the plug-ins now offer surround support formats up to 7.1.6 channels. The suite will operate in Mac and Windows platforms and will work in AU, VST, VST3, and AAX formats.
