McDSP Channel G Surround v6 Multichannel Dynamics Control Plug-In Software (Download)

The Channel G Surround v6 from McDSP is a compressor/limiter that is optimized for 5.1 channels using four compressor sets LR, C, LsRs, and LFE channels. It can be used on Mac and Windows computers by audio engineers, producers, and musicians in audio applications for studio recordings, mixing, voice-overs, video post-production, and more. In addition, the user interface seamlessly integrates with the Avid D-Control and D-Command control surfaces.

The channel set compressor/limiters in the Channel G Surround plug-in offer independent control of threshold, ratio, knee, attack, release, and make-up gain for each of the LR, C, LsRs, and LFE channel sets. Each channel set compressor/limiter can be bypassed separately as well. These separate channel set control groups give the user the flexibility needed to properly mix surround format material. The channel set control-linking feature also improves your workflow.

The HD plug-ins provide AAX DSP for use with Pro Tools HD, but also includes AAX Native, Audio Units and VST versions for use with other DAWs including Logic, Digital Performer (DP), Cubase, and Ableton Live.
